Banking Operations Associate

Role Overview Accenture is looking for a Banking Operations Associate to join its Intelligent Operations team in Chennai. This role is focused on supporting commercial banking functions by delivering efficient, reliable, and compliant banking services to business clients. You will be part of a team that helps financial institutions modernise their operations and build agile, resilient banking models. Key Responsibilities - Process and manage day-to-day commercial banking transactions accurately and on time - Handle account management activities including interest calculations, cash deposits, and withdrawals - Support customer and product management processes using core banking solutions - Address routine operational problems by following established procedures and guidelines - Coordinate with your team and supervisor to ensure smooth workflow and timely task completion - Ensure all banking operations comply with applicable regulations and internal policies - Maintain accurate records and documentation using MS Word and Excel Required Qualifications - Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a Master of Business Administration - 2 to 3 years of experience in commercial banking operations - Working knowledge of core banking processes and transaction management - Good verbal and written communication skills - Basic proficiency in MS Word and Microsoft Excel - Willingness to work in rotational or night shifts as required Why Join Us Accenture is a globally recognised professional services firm operating across more than 120 countries with a workforce of over 784,000 professionals. - 2 to 3 years of experience in commercial banking operations - Knowledge of core banking processes including account management and transaction processing - Good verbal and written communication skills in English - Basic proficiency in MS Word and Microsoft Excel - Willingness to work in night shifts or rotational shifts - Degree in BBA, BCom, or MBA
