Role Overview
Accenture is seeking a Banking Advisory Senior Analyst to support banking operations transformation and address quality, productivity, and regulatory challenges. This role focuses on conducting comprehensive internal control testing with emphasis on IT governance and controls. You will play a critical part in ensuring compliance with SOX requirements and enhancing the operational resilience of banking clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough testing of internal controls related to financial reporting to ensure compliance with SOX requirements with heavy focus on information technology controls
- Maintain detailed and organized documentation of tests performed, findings, conclusions, and supporting evidence for effectiveness of internal controls
- Work closely with the internal audit team to coordinate testing activities and communicate findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders
- Support evaluation of SOC 1 reports including assessing user entity controls, identifying complementary controls, and analyzing noted exceptions
- Perform IPE testing to validate completeness, accuracy, and reliability of system-generated reports and data used in control execution
- Assist in providing continuous improvement recommendations for internal control procedures and company processes
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of prior auditing experience including minimum 2 years focusing on ITGC
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Knowledge of internal control identification, evaluation and testing concepts under Sarbanes-Oxley and COSO
- Understanding of commercial real estate sector and account reconciliation processes

Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of auditing experience
- Minimum 2 years in ITGC
- SOX and COSO controls knowledge
- Internal control identification and evaluation expertise
- IT controls testing experience
- Commercial real estate experience preferred
- AuditBoard experience preferred
- CIA or CPA certification preferred
- International or large company audit experience preferred
