Audio Algorithm QA Engineer

Role Overview Logitech is looking for a talented Audio Quality Assurance Engineer to join its development team in Chennai. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and validating audio products during various stages of development to ensure they meet the highest performance and quality benchmarks. You will collaborate across teams and bring a sharp ear for audio quality along with strong technical skills to support the creation of next-generation audio products. Key Responsibilities - Extract logs and relevant data from systems under test using internal development tools - Conduct active listening evaluations to assess audio quality and provide structured, detailed feedback - Support audio data collection activities in the audio laboratory alongside the R&D team - Operate specialised audio measurement equipment to evaluate and verify audio system performance - Prepare high-quality bug reports to enable efficient identification and resolution of audio issues - Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, and product managers to integrate QA processes smoothly Required Qualifications - Minimum 1 year of experience with a solid understanding of audio measurement and evaluation techniques - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Exceptional attention to detail and a well-trained ear for audio quality assessment - Effective communication and teamwork skills - Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and prioritise tasks efficiently - Experience with audio hardware and software development is an advantage - Familiarity with programming or scripting languages for test automation is a plus - Working knowledge of audio codecs, DSP, and related technologies is desirable Why Join Us Logitech offers a collaborative, inclusive, and innovation-driven workplace where your contributions directly shape the future of audio technology.
