Assistant Sales Manager - Auction (Used Vehicle)

Role Overview AutoBSe is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Sales Manager to lead and manage vehicle auction operations, with a primary focus on bank-seized assets. This mid-senior role involves overseeing auctions across two-wheelers, four-wheelers, and commercial vehicles through both online and offline channels. The ideal candidate brings strong negotiation skills, client management expertise, and a solid understanding of the used vehicle auction landscape. Key Responsibilities - Manage end-to-end auction processes for used and repossessed vehicles across multiple segments - Build and maintain strong client relationships to schedule and execute successful auctions - Collaborate with banks and financial institutions to source and obtain auction listings - Develop and implement auction strategies aimed at maximising sales revenue - Analyse market trends and vehicle pricing data to make well-informed decisions - Train, guide, and supervise auction staff on procedures and industry best practices - Handle buyer concerns related to vehicle quality and ensure transparency throughout the auction process - Conduct both physical and online auction events while ensuring maximum buyer participation - Work closely with telecallers to connect with dealers and expand the client base - Prepare and maintain detailed auction reports with meticulous record-keeping Required Qualifications - Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in bank-seized vehicle auctions across diverse vehicle segments - Prior experience with a vehicle auction company will be considered an added advantage - Demonstrated ability to create comprehensive and accurate auction reports - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement and payment follow-ups - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records - High level of integrity, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to work - Fluency in English, Hindi, and the local Tamil language Why Join Us AutoBSe offers a challenging and growth-oriented environment where your auction expertise and sales skills will directly contribute to business success.
