AR Collections Specialist

Role Overview NTT DATA is looking for an experienced AR Collections Specialist to join its Finance team at the Gurugram office. This is a full-time, work-from-office role suited for a seasoned professional with a strong background in accounts receivable, DSO management, and enterprise collections. The ideal candidate will bring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution to drive timely revenue collection and team performance. Key Responsibilities - Ensure timely bill submission and collections activity to maintain healthy DSO levels - Drive revenue collection, retention, and identify upselling opportunities within existing accounts - Allocate collection targets to team members and build strategies for daily, weekly, and monthly goal achievement - Oversee enterprise and SLG collections processes end to end including backend support activities - Leverage strong customer relationships to accelerate billing clearance and reduce payment delays - Coordinate with channel partners and agencies to streamline collection workflows - Handle complaint escalations and ensure SLA adherence across all collection touchpoints - Prepare MIS reports, maintain dashboards, and ensure full process compliance Required Qualifications - Any graduate with 9 to 15 years of experience in accounts receivable and collections management - Demonstrated expertise in DSO control, billing follow-up, and enterprise or SME collections - Proven ability to lead teams and manage performance against collection targets - Strong knowledge of revenue retention strategies and customer success principles - Experience in complaint management and SLA-driven resolution processes - Proficiency in MIS reporting and collections dashboards Why Join Us NTT DATA is a global leader in IT services and consulting, offering a dynamic and professional work environment where finance specialists can make a measurable impact.
