AR Caller - Physician Revenue Cycle Management

Role Overview Sutherland is urgently hiring AR Callers with hands-on experience in US healthcare physician billing and revenue cycle management. This full-time night shift role is based out of the Perungalathur office in Chennai and offers excellent compensation along with weekend offs and transportation benefits. Key Responsibilities - Review and analyze claim form 1500 to ensure all billing information is complete and accurate - Use medical coding tools such as CCI and McKesson to validate and optimize procedure codes - Verify claim status, eligibility, and coverage details through payer websites and portals - Work with Clearing House systems like Waystar and other e-commerce platforms for seamless claim submissions - Apply CPT code ranges and modifiers correctly for precise billing across multiple medical specialties - Conduct voice-based follow-ups with insurance payers and medical staff to resolve billing discrepancies and denials - Handle denial management and ensure timely resubmission of rejected claims Required Qualifications - Any graduate with a minimum of 1 year of experience in AR calling and physician revenue cycle management - Proficiency in medical coding tools including CCI and McKesson - Working knowledge of claim form 1500 and other standard healthcare billing forms - Familiarity with payer portals and Clearing House systems such as Waystar - Knowledge of medical specialties including cardiology, radiology, gastroenterology, pediatrics, orthopedics, emergency medicine, and surgery - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Willingness to work night shifts and sign a retention bond - Immediate joiners preferred Why Join Us Sutherland offers a structured work environment with fixed Saturday and Sunday offs, a night shift allowance, and a self-transportation bonus of up to Rs 3500 per month.
