AR Caller - Hospital Billing

Role Overview Sutherland is hiring experienced AR Callers for its Hospital Billing team at its Hyderabad Uppal location. This is a full-time permanent night shift role suited for professionals with a strong background in US healthcare revenue cycle management and medical billing. You will be part of a dynamic BPO team working closely with payers and medical staff to ensure accurate and timely claims processing. Key Responsibilities - Review and analyze UB04 claim forms to ensure all billing information is complete and accurate - Use coding tools such as CCI and McKesson to validate, optimize, and process medical codes - Access payer websites to verify claim status, patient eligibility, and insurance coverage details - Apply CPT code ranges and appropriate modifiers for precise medical coding and billing - Work with Clearing House platforms like Waystar and other e-commerce systems for electronic claim submissions - Conduct voice-based interactions with insurance payers and internal medical staff to resolve billing discrepancies - Handle billing for multiple medical specialties including cardiology, radiology, gastroenterology, pediatrics, orthopedics, emergency medicine, and surgery Required Qualifications - Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in hospital revenue cycle management and AR calling - Strong working knowledge of claim form UB04 and other standard healthcare billing documents - Proficiency in medical coding tools including CCI and McKesson - Familiarity with payer portals and their claims verification processes - Sound understanding of Clearing House systems such as Waystar - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Any graduate degree is acceptable - Must be willing to work night shifts and available to join immediately or within 15 days Why Join Us Sutherland offers a stable and rewarding work environment with fixed weekend offs, transport support, and daily night shift allowances to ensure your comfort and work-life balance.
