Application Developer - Microsoft .NET Stack

Role Overview IBM is looking for a skilled Application Developer with deep expertise in the Microsoft .NET stack to join its software engineering team. In this role, you will be involved across multiple phases of the software development lifecycle including design, implementation, testing, and ongoing support. You will play a key part in helping clients advance their hybrid-cloud and AI initiatives through robust and scalable software solutions. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, test, and support applications built on Microsoft technologies with a focus on high-quality code and efficient performance - Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather product requirements, identify challenges, and deliver effective software solutions through analytical problem-solving - Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues related to code and MS SQL databases - Implement and work with CI/CD pipelines, SonarQube, messaging systems, and reverse proxy configurations - Stay current with evolving Microsoft technologies and continuously integrate new learning into development workflows and product features Required Qualifications - Strong background in .NET Core, C#, REST API, LINQ, Entity Framework, and XUnit - Working knowledge of Angular 15 or later, TypeScript, Jest Framework, HTML5, and CSS3 - Solid understanding of MS SQL databases and DB performance troubleshooting - Familiarity with design patterns such as CQRS, Mediator, and Repository pattern - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, SonarQube, messaging, and reverse proxy - Bachelor's degree in any discipline; Master's degree preferred Why Join Us IBM is a globally recognised technology leader where you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that shape the future of enterprise technology. - 4 to 7 years of experience in software development - Proficiency in .NET Core, C#, REST API, LINQ, and Entity Framework - Experience with Angular 15+, TypeScript, Jest, HTML5, and CSS3 - Hands-on knowledge of MS SQL databases and performance troubleshooting - Understanding of CQRS, Mediator, and Repository design patterns - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and SonarQube - Knowledge of GIT workflows including pull requests, merges, and commits - Understanding of AuthN and AuthZ techniques such as JWT, Windows, and Basic authentication - Experience with Agile methodology, TDD, and UML - Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
