Workday Services Integration Consultant

Role Overview WPP, one of the world's most respected growth and marketing technology companies, is seeking a Workday Services Integration Consultant to be part of a major 3-year digital transformation initiative. This role sits at the heart of WPP's effort to unify and modernise its technology platforms across 100+ global markets, with Workday serving as the central system of record for people, operations, and finance data. You will play a vital role in ensuring seamless integration performance while supporting the broader shift toward AI-enabled decision making and scalable automation. Key Responsibilities - Monitor Workday integrations on an ongoing basis and keep the integration lead informed of high-impact issues as they arise - Ensure all active incidents are thoroughly documented and regularly updated to support smooth handover across time zones - Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration support issues promptly and effectively - Maintain and update the integration support issue log, recording newly identified problems and their resolutions - Develop and enhance integrations assigned under business-as-usual operations, with potential involvement in new project integration work from inception - Continuously review integrations to ensure they conform to the highest quality and performance standards - Keep integration documentation and architecture diagrams accurate and up to date - Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve cross-platform issues and engage positively with business partners to gather enhancement requirements - Stay current with new Workday integration features, broader industry trends, and emerging technology capabilities Required Qualifications - Solid experience in Workday integrations development and support, including requirements gathering, analysis, and solution design - Hands-on experience with multiple Workday integration types such as Studio, Core Connectors, RaaS, EIB, PECI, PICOF, and BIRT - Good working knowledge of web service technologies including REST, SOAP, JSON, HTTP, SSL, PGP, and SAML - Proficiency in XML, XPath, and XSLT - Understanding of HCM and Financials functionality along with Workday integration best practices - Familiarity with Informatica is a plus - Strong grasp of SaaS platform architecture, security standards, and data management - Ability to work collaboratively with multiple external and internal platform teams - Customer-focused mindset with high energy, accountability, and drive Why Join Us At WPP, you will work alongside some of the most talented and creative minds in the industry, contributing to transformation projects of a scale rarely seen elsewhere. - Workday integrations development and support experience - Experience with Studio, Core Connectors, RaaS, EIB, PECI, PICOF, and BIRT integration types - Knowledge of REST, SOAP, JSON, HTTP, SSL, PGP, and SAML web service technologies - Proficiency in XML, XPath, and XSLT - Understanding of HCM and Financials functionality in Workday - Knowledge of Workday integration best practices - Familiarity with Informatica (advantageous) - Strong understanding of SaaS platforms, security standards, and data handling - Ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical deliverables - Strong cross-team collaboration and communication skills
