Senior .NET Developer

Role Overview WPP, a globally renowned growth partner for the world's leading brands, is seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join its integrated Enterprise Technology team in Chennai. This is a full-time hybrid role where you will contribute to large-scale digital transformation initiatives, building and maintaining robust applications and distributed software infrastructure across a global network spanning 100+ markets. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications, modules, and shared functionality using .NET and C# - Build and support large-scale distributed software infrastructure along with seamless application and UI integrations - Analyse and enhance the performance and efficiency of platform components - Conduct thorough code reviews to uphold quality standards and mentor team members - Collaborate with Business Analysts to document requirements and prepare detailed technical specifications - Write unit and integration tests for new code and assist Quality Analysts in pre-release testing - Support diagnosis and resolution of application issues and system defects - Provide knowledge transfer to Support and Operations teams on system changes - Stay current with evolving hardware, software, and cybersecurity technologies Required Qualifications - 5+ years of full stack development experience with .NET and C#, including Web API, .NET Core, and Azure Web hosting - 2+ years of hands-on experience with React or Angular, web services, and relevant frameworks - Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, Single Page Applications, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Redux - Strong understanding of API and microservice architecture development - Experience with SQL Server, query optimisation, and NoSQL databases - Familiarity with distributed architectures, REST APIs, and GraphQL - Cloud platform experience with Azure and GCP - Knowledge of CI/CD practices and experience with Azure DevOps and Git - Understanding of Cybersecurity best practices - Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable discipline - Certifications such as AZ-900, 70-486, 70-480, 70-483, MCSA, or MCSD are advantageous Why Join Us At WPP, you will be part of a passionate, globally connected technology team working on transformative projects at an unparalleled scale.
