Role Overview Red Carpet Tours Pvt. Ltd. is hiring an enthusiastic and target-driven Travel Sales Consultant to join their Chennai team. This full-time role is ideal for travel professionals with hands-on experience in leisure and holiday package sales. You will be responsible for turning travel inquiries into confirmed bookings while delivering outstanding client experiences. Key Responsibilities - Handle inbound and outbound customer inquiries for domestic and international holiday packages - Design and personalise travel itineraries based on client preferences, budgets, and travel requirements - Prepare detailed package costings, quotations, and travel proposals for prospective clients - Coordinate with hotels, airlines, transport providers, and third-party travel vendors for seamless trip execution - Share accurate information on destinations, sightseeing options, visa requirements, transfers, and travel logistics - Build lasting client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals - Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive rates and improve profit margins - Follow up on leads and inquiries consistently to meet and exceed sales targets - Stay current with emerging travel trends, new destinations, and industry updates Required Qualifications - 1.5 to 2 years of experience working in the travel industry is mandatory - Demonstrated track record in leisure and holiday package sales - Strong working knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations - Practical experience in holiday package creation, costing, and itinerary planning - Familiarity with hotel arrangements, sightseeing coordination, transfers, and visa processes - Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and client-handling skills - Proven ability to convert travel inquiries into confirmed bookings - Proficiency in MS Office and travel booking tools is an added advantage - Candidates from non-travel backgrounds will not be shortlisted Why Join Us Red Carpet Tours offers a performance-driven culture with real growth opportunities and exposure to a wide range of domestic and international travel products.
