Role Overview
Ventra Health is a leading business solutions provider specialising in Revenue Cycle Management for facility-based physicians across anesthesia, emergency medicine, hospital medicine, pathology, and radiology. We are looking for a skilled and experienced Healthcare RCM Supervisor for Accounts Receivable to lead our AR team at our Guindy, Tamil Nadu office. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of accounts receivable specialists to ensure high productivity, accuracy, and consistent performance
- Design and implement strategies to optimise the AR process, reduce account aging, and improve overall cash flow for the organisation
- Track and monitor key performance indicators including AR days, denial rates, and cash collection ratios, taking prompt corrective action when targets are not met
- Oversee billing and claims submission functions to ensure timely, accurate claims processing and quick resolution of any errors or discrepancies
- Manage payment posting activities by reconciling received payments against billed charges and investigating any variances
- Lead denial management efforts by analysing denial trends, executing corrective strategies, and filing appeals to maximise revenue recovery
- Collaborate closely with coding, billing, and compliance teams to maintain alignment across revenue cycle workflows
- Stay current with changes in healthcare regulations, payer policies, and industry best practices and implement necessary updates to ensure compliance
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews, offering constructive feedback, recognition, and growth opportunities
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex AR issues raised by internal stakeholders, external partners, or patients
- Maintain accurate records of AR activities and generate performance reports to measure progress against goals
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or Business
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management with a specific focus on accounts receivable
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience, preferably within a healthcare or RCM environment
- In-depth knowledge of medical billing processes, reimbursement methodologies, and healthcare regulatory requirements
- Strong understanding of payer policies and claims adjudication processes
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team leadership skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a results-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in RCM software platforms and healthcare billing systems
- CPC or CRCR certification is an added advantage

Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience in healthcare RCM with AR focus
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Prior supervisory or team leadership experience in healthcare
- Strong knowledge of medical billing and claims adjudication
- Familiarity with payer policies and reimbursement methodologies
- Proficiency in RCM software and billing systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- CPC or CRCR certification preferred
