Job Description

Role Overview MetLife is looking for a detail-oriented Sr. Insurance Associate to join its Jaipur operations team. This full-time hybrid role involves evaluating Statement of Health applications for life coverages under Group customer accounts. The ideal candidate brings BPO experience with a background in medical transcription for US insurance processes. Key Responsibilities - Review customer Statement of Health provisions and accurately key customer information into the system - Apply defined guidelines to process and verify Statement of Health procedures - Identify and follow up on missing information required to complete evaluation of Statement of Health forms - Ensure allocated reports and certification requests are completed within recommended timelines and accuracy thresholds - Adhere to agreed SLAs and maintain quality standards at both Reviewer Level-1 and Reviewer Level-2 Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree (BSc Biology preferred) or diploma with a minimum of 15 years of formal education - 1 to 2 years of professional experience in the BPO industry, preferably in medical transcription for US insurance - Basic knowledge of medical terminology and US insurance principles - Proficiency in MS Office, computer navigation, and data entry with a minimum speed of 30 wpm at 90% accuracy - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment - Openness to working in rotational shifts Why Join Us MetLife is a globally recognised insurance leader offering a structured hybrid work environment with clear performance frameworks and growth pathways. Requirements

- 1-2 years of BPO experience, preferably in medical transcription for US insurance - Basic knowledge of medical terminology - Proficiency in MS Office and computer navigation - Data entry speed of minimum 30 wpm with 90% accuracy - Exposure to mainframe and web-based systems - Knowledge of US insurance principles and US culture - Strong organisational and multitasking skills - Good written and verbal English communication skills - Bachelor's degree or diploma with minimum 15 years of education - Willingness to work in rotational shifts
