Officer, Customer Service Officer, Consumer Banking Group

Role Overview DBS Bank is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Officer to join our Consumer Banking Group in Coimbatore. In this role, you will ensure compliance with banking regulations while managing cash transactions, account openings, and customer service inquiries. Key Responsibilities - Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and bank policies for all banking transactions. - Process cash transactions, transfer transactions, and the clearing of financial instruments. - Receive and process cheques, demand drafts, dividend warrants, pay orders, and bills for deposits. - Process requests for new account openings and transaction updates either jointly or independently. - Respond to customer service inquiries regarding account balances, transaction details, statements, and fees. - Address customer queries and grievances within defined timelines and escalate issues when required. Required Qualifications - Two to four years of banking experience, preferably within a consumer banking or operational environment. - Graduation in any discipline, with a preference for Banking, Commerce, or related fields. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong client relationships. - Good computer knowledge and familiarity with internal and external banking regulations.
