Officer, Customer Service Officer, Consumer Banking Group

Role Overview DBS Bank is seeking a Customer Service Officer to join our Consumer Banking Group in Muthur. In this role, you will ensure regulatory compliance while handling cash transactions, account openings, and customer inquiries. Key Responsibilities - Process cash transactions, transfer requests, and clearing instruments within limits. - Receive and validate checks, demand drafts, pay orders, and dividend warrants. - Process requests for new account openings and transaction updates. - Address customer queries and grievances within defined timelines and escalate when needed. - Respond to inquiries regarding account balances, transaction details, and statements. - Ensure strict compliance with all internal bank policies and regulatory guidelines. Required Qualifications - 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in consumer banking operations. - Graduate degree, preferably in banking, commerce, or a related discipline. - Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills. - Good computer knowledge and familiarity with banking software systems. - Strong understanding of internal and external banking regulations.
