Sr. Software Platform engineer II

Role Overview MetLife is seeking an experienced Sr. Software Platform Engineer II to join our team in Hyderabad. In this hybrid role, you will design and develop enterprise AI agents, multi-agent systems, and orchestration frameworks leveraging LLMs. Come help us build scalable microservices-based architectures and automate complex workflows across our global operations. Key Responsibilities - Design and develop AI agents and multi-agent systems for enterprise workflow automation. - Build agent orchestration frameworks leveraging LLMs and advanced tool integrations. - Develop solutions for document processing, summarization, and knowledge retrieval. - Build scalable backend microservices-based architectures using modern patterns. - Implement robust RESTful APIs and reusable frameworks for integrated AI services. - Design and manage data pipelines, storage, and retrieval mechanisms. - Leverage Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for automated build and deployment. - Provide production support, monitoring, and improvements for deployed AI solutions. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on platform development. - Strong programming expertise in Python and robust database skills in SQL. - Proven experience with LLM frameworks (LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or similar). - Knowledge of prompt engineering, RAG architecture, and vector databases.
