Software Engineer - Full Stack Development (Python and JavaScript)

Role Overview Deloitte is looking for a skilled and experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join its Customer and Commerce practice. This role is part of the Advertising, Marketing and Commerce team, which helps leading organizations build smarter customer experiences through technology, data, and creative thinking. You will work as a Senior Consultant equivalent, contributing across the full project lifecycle while mentoring junior engineers and driving delivery excellence. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade full stack applications using Python and modern JavaScript frameworks - Build and manage robust data pipelines and oversee code deployment across multiple environments - Translate functional and business requirements into scalable, high-quality software solutions - Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to deliver projects on time and within scope - Guide and mentor junior developers, sharing best practices and technical knowledge - Identify and recommend the right tools and accelerators to improve project efficiency and innovation - Track and analyse key delivery metrics to ensure continuous improvement and quality assurance - Contribute to estimation, planning, and execution phases of software development projects Required Qualifications - 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience in full stack software development - Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS along with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js - Extensive experience with Python and backend frameworks including FastAPI, Django, or Flask - Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and WebSocket protocols - Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB - Experience with Git or other version control systems - Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud - BE, B.Tech, MCA, or M.Sc in Computer Science or an equivalent degree from an accredited university - Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in team environments Why Join Us Deloitte offers a truly rewarding work environment where professionals grow through diverse learning opportunities, global project exposure, and a culture that celebrates individuality and innovation.
