Software Engineer I - Full Stack Engineering (Python)

Role Overview Deloitte is looking for a Software Engineer I to join its Customer and Advertising, Marketing and Commerce team. In this full-stack role, you will work on building modern, data-driven digital products and marketing platforms that drive measurable growth for Deloitte's clients. You will be expected to deliver high-quality work independently within defined timelines, bring a positive attitude toward learning, and adapt swiftly to evolving project requirements. Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask alongside modern frontend technologies - Build and consume RESTful APIs and WebSocket-based integrations to support scalable digital solutions - Write clean, efficient frontend code using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, architects, and data scientists to deliver client-facing digital products - Manage source code using Git and contribute to cloud-based deployments on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud - Participate in Agile or Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices Required Qualifications - 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in full-stack development - Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS with experience in at least one major frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js - Solid experience with Python and at least one backend framework including FastAPI, Django, or Flask - Good understanding of RESTful APIs and WebSocket protocols - Working knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB - Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud - Experience with Git for version control - BE, B.Tech, MCA, or M.Sc in Computer Science or equivalent from an accredited institution - Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities Why Join Us Deloitte offers a highly collaborative and inclusive work environment where professionals can grow through diverse learning opportunities, leadership programs, and exposure to some of the most complex and exciting client challenges across industries.
