AI and Data Solutions Engineer II

Role Overview Deloitte is looking for an experienced AI and Data Solutions Engineer II to join its AI and Engineering practice. In this role, you will independently deliver high-quality work products within defined timelines while collaborating with onsite and offshore teams to understand functional requirements. You will play a key role in transforming data platforms, driving innovation, and creating measurable impact for clients across industries. Key Responsibilities - Apply industry knowledge to requirements gathering and analysis to ensure alignment with sector-specific needs - Demonstrate end-to-end expertise across the software development lifecycle including design, coding, deployment, and defect resolution - Conduct peer and team code reviews to uphold quality standards across deliverables - Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and effort estimation - Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for relational, dimensional, and NoSQL platforms - Work with data warehousing solutions, data lakes, and enterprise big data platforms including cloud-based tools such as Google BigQuery, AWS Redshift, and Snowflake - Create comprehensive documentation covering data models, data dictionaries, and metadata - Recommend and implement process improvements, automation initiatives, and efficiency enhancements - Support project knowledge management and contribute to team training and capability building Required Qualifications - 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in data modeling across relational, dimensional, and NoSQL platforms - Proficiency in at least one of Data Vault, NoSQL, Dimensional Modeling, or Graph data modeling - Strong knowledge of metadata management, data modeling tools such as Erwin or ER Studio - Experience with ETL tools and data ingestion protocols - Familiarity with big data technologies including Hadoop and Spark - Knowledge of columnar, vector, and graph databases - BE, B.Tech, MCA, or M.Sc in Computer Science or equivalent from an accredited university Why Join Us Deloitte offers a highly inclusive and growth-oriented work culture where professionals are empowered to bring their best thinking to complex client challenges.
