Software Engineer - Full Stack Development (Python)

Role Overview Deloitte is looking for a skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to join its Customer and Advertising, Marketing and Commerce practice. In this senior-level role, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade software solutions that help leading organizations enhance customer experiences and drive measurable business growth. You will work at the intersection of technology, strategy, and creativity to solve complex challenges for global clients. Key Responsibilities - Design and develop scalable full stack applications using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask alongside modern frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js - Build and manage robust data pipelines and handle code deployment across multiple environments - Translate functional and business requirements into well-architected technical deliverables - Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams across the complete project lifecycle including estimation, planning, execution, and performance tracking - Mentor and guide junior engineers, serving as the go-to technical resource on the team - Evaluate and recommend the most appropriate tools and accelerators to drive delivery efficiency and innovation - Integrate RESTful APIs and WebSocket protocols into enterprise applications - Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to deliver scalable solutions Required Qualifications - 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience in full stack software development - Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS - Extensive experience with Python and backend frameworks like FastAPI, Django, or Flask - Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs and WebSocket protocols - Familiarity with database technologies including PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB - Experience with Git or similar version control systems - Working knowledge of cloud services on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud - BE, B.Tech, MCA, or M.Sc in Computer Science or an equivalent degree from an accredited university - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and collaborative teamwork abilities - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus - Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerisation technologies is advantageous - Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments is preferred Why Join Us Deloitte offers a dynamic, inclusive work environment where professionals grow through world-class learning programmes, diverse project exposure, and access to the state-of-the-art DU Leadership Center in India.
