Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain high-performance software applications using C++, C#, MFC, and COM frameworks - Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including analysis, design, development, and unit testing - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across business and technical domains, maintaining appropriate levels of abstraction in discussions - Contribute to software engineering best practices and ensure code quality through rigorous testing and documentation - Travel to KLA sites in Israel, the US, and customer locations for short-term project assignments as needed Required Qualifications - BE, BS, or BTech degree in a relevant engineering or technology discipline - Minimum 1 year of software development experience (Master's degree holders with 0 years of experience are also eligible) - Strong foundation in programming fundamentals with hands-on expertise in C++, C# and MFC/COM - Thorough understanding of SDLC and software engineering principles - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with the ability to bridge theoretical and implementation thinking - Willingness to travel internationally on short assignments Why Join Us KLA invests over 15% of its annual sales back into research and development, giving engineers the resources and freedom to work on truly transformative technology. - Proficiency in C++, C# and MFC/COM programming - Strong knowledge of SDLC and software engineering practices - Experience in software analysis, design, development and unit testing - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills across technical and business teams - Willingness to travel to Israel, US and other customer locations - Preferred: Experience in .NET and C# WPF - Preferred: Knowledge of STL, Boost Library and Windows Internals - Optional: Familiarity with semiconductor domain or KLA-specific technologies
