Senior UiPath RPA Developer - GDS Consulting

Role Overview EY Global Delivery Services is looking for a Senior UiPath Developer to join its Consulting team in Chennai. This is a mid-senior role suited for an experienced RPA professional with 5 to 8 years of hands-on automation development experience who can independently lead projects, own automation workflows, and engage directly with client teams to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end UiPath automation development using Modern UI design, REFramework, and both attended and unattended bot configurations - Independently build and manage unattended automation workflows by converting complex business requirements into efficient, scalable solutions - Apply knowledge of Long Running Workflows and Human-in-the-Loop concepts to extend automation capabilities - Troubleshoot bot issues, tune performance, and implement robust exception handling and retry mechanisms - Manage UiPath Orchestrator components including Queues, Assets, and Triggers while overseeing multi-environment deployments - Collaborate with business SMEs, internal stakeholders, and client teams to gather requirements and provide project updates - Mentor junior developers on UiPath best practices, coding standards, and delivery processes - Maintain thorough documentation of automation workflows following naming conventions, annotations, and folder structure guidelines - Provide quick-turnaround production support and bug fixes for deployed bots - Drive adoption of AI, ML, and Generative AI capabilities within automation solutions Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline - 5 to 8 years of experience in RPA development, digital transformation, and related domains - Proven hands-on experience with UiPath Studio, UiPath Orchestrator, and UiPath Assistant - Strong command of REFramework, queue-based processing, Document Understanding, AI Center, and Integration Service - Proficiency in UI Automation, Selectors, Computer Vision, REST and SOAP API integrations - Working knowledge of .NET (C# or VB), JSON and XML handling, Excel Automation, DataTables, and SQL database integration - Experience with version control and DevOps tools including Git and Azure DevOps CI-CD pipelines - UiPath Certified Professional Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD) certification is required - Strong communication skills for client-facing engagement and leadership qualities to drive workstreams independently Why Join Us At EY GDS, you will be part of a globally connected delivery network spanning six countries, working alongside multidisciplinary teams on transformative projects for leading global brands.
