Senior Technical Lead EMC VMware Smarts

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Lead to lead network monitoring and infrastructure automation initiatives using EMC/VMware SMARTS. This role involves designing and implementing comprehensive monitoring solutions while mentoring a technical team in a fast-paced IT services environment. You will be responsible for optimizing network performance and ensuring system reliability across enterprise-level infrastructure. Key Responsibilities - Lead design, development, and maintenance of ASL, Perl, and Ansible scripts for network automation and monitoring - Manage and configure EMC/VMware SMARTS to monitor complex network environments and identify performance bottlenecks - Troubleshoot and analyze critical system issues while providing technical guidance to team members - Implement monitoring best practices across Windows, Unix, and Linux operating systems - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate monitoring solutions with existing IT infrastructure Required Qualifications - Proficiency in ASL, Perl, and Ansible scripting languages - Extensive experience with EMC/VMware SMARTS network monitoring tool - Strong knowledge of Windows, Unix, and Linux operating systems - Basic programming knowledge in C and PL/SQL - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field - Proven experience in enterprise IT environments and large-scale network operations Why Join Us HCLTech offers a collaborative environment where technical expertise is valued and career growth is encouraged.
