Senior Team Lead Accounts Payable Finance Transformation

Role Overview You will lead the Record-to-Report function and ensure seamless completion of day-to-day accounting transactions and activities. This role involves overseeing general ledger accounting, period-end close processes, financial reporting, and internal controls while managing a team of analysts and team leads. You will be instrumental in driving operational excellence and implementing process improvements within the finance transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities - Oversee Record-to-Report processes including general ledger accounting, period-end close, and financial reporting to ensure timely and accurate delivery - Lead and manage teams of analysts, senior analysts, team leads, senior team leads, and deputy managers - Review and validate journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly reporting packs based on risk ratings and threshold limits - Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes while managing close checklists and financial statement preparation - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and coordinate with auditors for internal and external audit support - Conduct team meetings and governance meetings with clients to manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns - Propose and execute initiatives to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Commerce, BBA, BMS or similar three-year graduate course - Six to eight years of professional work experience in finance or accounting functions - Basic accounting knowledge and proficiency in MS Office and computer skills - Effective communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities - Prior experience in BPO sector preferred - Record-to-Report function specific knowledge preferred Why Join Us Join Deloitte and be part of a global management consulting firm that drives functional excellence and enables innovation.
