Role Overview
Freshworks is seeking an experienced Senior Manager for its Deals Desk function to lead deal governance across the APMEA region. This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product, and is central to structuring compliant, profitable, and scalable SaaS deals. The ideal candidate brings deep commercial acumen, a passion for process automation, and the ability to operate with speed and precision in a high-growth SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the APMEA Deals Desk team and provide strategic guidance on complex deal structuring, pricing approvals, and commercial negotiations
- Serve as the primary approval authority for non-standard deals while ensuring adherence to pricing policies and discount thresholds
- Partner with Sales, Legal, Revenue Operations, and Product teams to resolve complex deal scenarios and align on contract structures
- Drive transformation initiatives to automate deal approval workflows, CPQ processes, and quote generation
- Manage and optimise tools including DealHub CPQ, Salesforce CRM, Chargebee, and Power BI
- Develop deal intelligence dashboards tracking discount trends, win rates, deal velocity, and margin performance
- Establish SOPs, approval matrices, and playbooks for common deal scenarios to empower sales teams
- Mentor and develop a high-performing deals desk team, fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
- 10 to 14 years of experience in Deal Desk Operations, Pre-Sales, Contract Management, or Enterprise Deal Management
- 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in SaaS or subscription-based business models
- Strong understanding of SaaS pricing models, ARR and MRR metrics, and commercial constructs
- Proven track record in driving process transformation and automation initiatives
- Experience implementing or managing DealHub CPQ, Salesforce CRM, Chargebee, and Power BI or Tableau
- Demonstrated ability to build automated approval workflows within CRM systems
- Experience supporting global SaaS sales organisations with enterprise deal structures

Requirements
