Senior Electrical Engineer - Utilities

Role Overview Siemens is hiring a Senior Engineer or Manager for Utilities at its Bidadi site in Karnataka. This is a full-time on-site contract role for a duration of one year directly with Siemens, with two open positions available. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in the operation and maintenance of industrial plant utility equipment. Key Responsibilities - Oversee daily operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plant utility systems including Air Compressors, Dryers, Chillers, LPG and HSD Yards, 132KV and above Switchyard equipment, Transformers, HT and LT Panels, and APFC Panels - Lead and guide the on-site utilities team, setting a strong example through proactive leadership - Ensure full compliance with EHS rules and procedures relevant to service projects and the services business - Prepare MIS reports and maintain ISO documentation in line with company standards - Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities to minimise downtime and ensure operational efficiency Required Qualifications - Bachelor of Engineering or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering - 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in operation and maintenance of utility equipment - Must hold a valid Supervisory License from CEIG (Chief Electrical Inspector to Government) - In-depth knowledge of industrial utility systems and high-tension electrical infrastructure - Strong understanding of EHS norms applicable to service and site-based projects Why Join Us Siemens offers a dynamic work environment where you can apply your technical expertise on high-impact industrial projects.
