Role Overview
Siemens Global Business Services is seeking an experienced Assistant Vice President for its Hire-to-Retire division, specifically to lead the Travel and Expense (T&E) services portfolio. This is a senior leadership role with single-point global ownership of T&E as a service, covering everything from strategic planning to day-to-day operations and transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in shared services, a strong understanding of digitalization trends, and the ability to collaborate across global teams to deliver exceptional employee and client experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the portfolio vision, strategy, and roadmap for T&E services in alignment with overall business goals
- Collaborate with H2R DPS and SAP Concur teams to outline end-to-end service capabilities and develop simple, profitable pricing models
- Design the ideal delivery model including location optimization and work with regional hubs to achieve target state within defined timelines
- Lead digitalization efforts across the T&E portfolio to simplify processes, eliminate waste, and improve end-user experience
- Drive productivity and value-creation targets globally for H2R T&E services through automation and standardization
- Manage the complete lifecycle of T&E services from design and implementation to ongoing monitoring and continuous improvement
- Define and track KPIs, analyze performance data, and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with H2R, P&O, business units, SCM, IT, and regional stakeholders to ensure alignment and portfolio support
- Standardize and harmonize processes to the maximum possible extent for consistency and operational efficiency
- Develop joint pricing models between IT and services to provide clients with a simplified and transparent cost structure
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience leading T&E services within the shared services industry, preferably within Siemens H2R
- Hands-on experience managing operations at country, regional, or client level with a significant scale
- Strong command of metrics, KPIs, and their evolution in an increasingly digitalized environment
- In-depth understanding of enterprise systems and how they integrate within an H2R ecosystem
- Experience in process design, taxonomy definition, and operating model development
- Good understanding of AI and GenAI solutions, or willingness to rapidly learn and implement these technologies
- Solutioning mindset with the ability to translate complex challenges into structured, actionable plans
- Willingness to travel to other locations within India and internationally as required
