Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

Role Overview Tata Consultancy Services is looking for a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to join its growing cloud infrastructure team across Pune, Chennai, and Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on expertise in AWS services, automation, and containerized environments to help design and maintain robust, scalable systems. This is a full-time permanent role offering the opportunity to work on enterprise-grade cloud solutions for global clients. Key Responsibilities - Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and IAM - Build and maintain highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable cloud systems - Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps - Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent tools - Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring processes for applications - Enforce security best practices including IAM policies, data encryption, and network security configurations - Monitor system performance, address reliability concerns proactively, and perform root cause analysis for production issues - Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes on Amazon EKS - Optimize cloud resource utilization and manage cost efficiency - Set up and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting systems using CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana - Collaborate with development teams to streamline release management and deployment workflows Required Qualifications - Strong hands-on experience with core AWS services and cloud architecture - Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools, with Terraform preferred - Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Shell - Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes or EKS - Sound knowledge of Linux and Unix systems - Familiarity with networking concepts including VPC, subnets, routing, and DNS - Experience with Git-based version control workflows - Knowledge of security, compliance, and monitoring best practices Why Join Us Tata Consultancy Services is one of India's most respected global IT leaders, offering unmatched career growth, diverse project exposure, and a collaborative work culture. - 8 to 13 years of experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure roles - Hands-on expertise with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM) - Strong knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices - Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Shell scripting - Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI - Docker and Kubernetes (EKS) experience required - Solid Linux/Unix system administration skills - Understanding of networking concepts including VPC, DNS, and routing - Experience with Git and version control systems - Familiarity with CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana for monitoring - Any graduate degree accepted
