Senior Associate - Learning and Development

Role Overview Guidehouse is looking for a Senior Associate in Learning and Development to design, develop, and facilitate high-quality instructor-led and virtual instructor-led training programs for internal audiences. This role works closely with business leaders and subject matter experts to build engaging learning experiences that align with organisational goals. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in instructional design, adult learning principles, and stakeholder communication. Key Responsibilities - Design and develop instructor-led and virtual instructor-led training content from concept to completion with minimal supervision - Conduct training needs assessments in collaboration with business segment leaders and SMEs to identify skill gaps and recommend solutions - Write clear learning objectives, course modules, and lesson content that ensure mastery of the subject matter - Apply adult learning principles to create instructional design documents, facilitator guides, and participant materials - Facilitate training sessions both virtually and in-person in a professional and engaging manner across all employee levels - Partner with the Internal Communications team to write training communications distributed via email, intranet, and newsletters - Work with the LMS Administration team to create courses, track completions, and review participant feedback for continuous improvement - Maintain and update existing training materials including regular file backups to the Authoring Repository - Implement Guidehouse branding and L&D department standards throughout all design and delivery activities - Stay current with instructional design tools and software including Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and SnagIt Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline - Minimum 3 years of experience as an instructional designer and facilitator supporting internal business customers - Minimum 3 years of experience facilitating behavioural and soft skills training to audiences ranging from junior staff to senior executives - Minimum 3 years of experience writing training communications for diverse internal audiences - Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel - Experience with LMS administration is preferred but not mandatory - Strong ability to build relationships with business leaders, establish credibility, and leverage internal subject matter experts - Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and stakeholder management skills - Ability to translate data, research, and trends into actionable learning insights - Willingness to travel occasionally and work flexible hours as needed Why Join Us Guidehouse offers a competitive total rewards package and a flexible benefits structure that reflects its commitment to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
