Manager - Data Analyst

Role Overview Guidehouse is looking for an experienced Manager - Data Analyst to join its Chennai team. In this mid-senior role, you will lead data analytics initiatives, manage a team of analysts, and deliver actionable insights that drive business performance. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external clients to support data-driven decision-making across departments. Key Responsibilities - Gather and validate data from primary and secondary sources while maintaining the integrity of databases and data systems - Detect, examine, and interpret trends or patterns within complex datasets to generate meaningful business insights - Cleanse data and review computer-generated reports to identify and correct coding errors - Develop and maintain data dashboards, charts, and visual aids using MS Excel and Power BI to support cross-functional decision-making - Create daily, weekly, and monthly reports in line with process timelines and SLA requirements - Track key process metrics and SLAs while proactively identifying areas for improvement - Collaborate with management and business units to align information priorities with organizational goals - Manage the work of junior data analysts and identify optimization opportunities within the team - Partner with engineering and product development teams to understand and fulfill business requirements - Support the Operations team in consolidating, tracking, and reporting the status of key deliverables - Work directly with internal and external clients to address analytics needs Required Qualifications - Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university; preference given to Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics - Minimum 10 years of experience in data analytics or data science roles - Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, and VBA Macros - Strong working knowledge of Python or SQL for data analytics - Proven skills in report writing, data visualization, and presenting findings to stakeholders - Ability to handle and execute client requirements independently under tight deadlines - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Why Join Us Guidehouse offers a competitive total rewards package and a flexible benefits structure that reflects its commitment to building a diverse, inclusive, and supportive workplace. - 10+ years of experience in data analytics or data science - Advanced MS Excel, Power BI, and VBA Macros skills - Proficiency in Python or SQL - Strong data visualization and dashboard development skills - Experience in report writing and presenting insights to stakeholders - Ability to manage a team and drive process optimization - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Graduate degree from a recognized university - Preferred: 5+ years of RCM (Revenue Cycle Management) domain experience - Preferred: Certifications in Data Analytics
