Senior Analyst - Product Life Cycle Management

Role Overview Merck Group is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Analyst to join its Business Operations team in Bengaluru. This role is part of the Sales, Marketing, and Product Management function and involves supporting Product Managers with a range of Product Life Cycle Management activities. The ideal candidate brings strong scientific knowledge, data management expertise, and a proactive approach to process improvement. Key Responsibilities - Assist Product Managers with Product Life Cycle Management tasks aligned to business needs - Review product setup, master data completeness, and ensure data accuracy and consistency - Perform data management activities including data review, cleansing, enrichment, and consistency checks - Review PIM data compilation and troubleshoot Web PDP data issues - Manage change control, material extension, and ticketing systems to support lifecycle activities - Support portfolio initiatives such as back-order clearance, global extension, and lost source troubleshooting - Provide Project Management Office support including dashboard creation, data collection, meeting coordination, and follow-up communications - Meet defined SLAs and turnaround times as agreed with stakeholders - Maintain quality and productivity standards and ensure timely fulfillment of internal customer requirements - Contribute to process improvement projects and support ISO and other compliance activities Required Qualifications - In-depth knowledge of Life Science subjects and understanding of Business Operations roles - Proficiency with Office 365 tools including Excel, Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint - Ability to build complex database queries and work with data analytics tools such as Power BI and Palantir - Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills - Effective problem-solving, planning, and execution abilities - High degree of self-management and ability to develop independent solutions - Good understanding of customer orientation, business acumen, and change management Why Join Us Merck Group fosters a culture of inclusion, diversity, and continuous learning where curious minds thrive and are empowered to make a real difference.
