Scrum Master

Role Overview Virtusa is looking for an experienced Scrum Master to lead and coach high-performing Agile teams in a scaled enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will drive SAFe 5 adoption, facilitate Program Increment planning, and serve as a bridge between product, engineering, and leadership stakeholders. This role also carries project management responsibilities, including resource planning, risk management, and go-live readiness coordination. Key Responsibilities - Lead a Scrum team of 15 or more members following the SAFe 5 framework and facilitate Program Increment planning and execution using Miro and JIRA - Coordinate with Product Owners to define and track OKRs for each project, linking them to features and epics managed in Airfocus - Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Demo, and Sprint Retrospective to ensure timely product delivery - Capture and manage product backlog requirements and new requests in JIRA, identifying impediments, dependencies, and risks in Scrum of Scrum sessions - Generate and present Sprint reports from Airfocus to the leadership team and manage product releases following IT Release Management processes across SIT, PPT, and Production environments - Coordinate Go Live Readiness activities with BQM, ITQM, and ATS teams to ensure all prerequisites are fulfilled before production deployment - Partner with other Scrum Masters to strengthen Agile practices organisation-wide and guide teams toward a consistent Agile mindset - Handle project management duties including resource planning, risk identification, contingency planning, and scope definition Required Qualifications - SAFe 5 Scrum Master certification or equivalent hands-on experience with the SAFe framework - Proven experience managing Scrum teams of 15 or more members in a mid-to-senior capacity - Proficiency in Agile tools including JIRA, Airfocus, ServiceNow, and Miro - Strong understanding of OKR frameworks and the ability to align them with product epics and features - Experience with IT Release Management processes and multi-environment deployment coordination - Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills Why Join Us Virtusa offers a collaborative and innovation-driven work culture where Agile excellence is valued at every level of the organisation.
