SAP Consultant - SD

Role Overview NKT is a global leader in sustainable power cable solutions, and this role places you at the heart of their SAP Digital Core team. As an SAP Consultant specialising in Sales and Distribution, you will support and enhance critical order-to-cash processes that drive efficient sales execution across Europe and other international markets. This is a full-time position based in Chennai, with occasional international travel for collaboration and knowledge transfer. Key Responsibilities - Analyse and convert sales and distribution business requirements into precise SAP SD configurations - Configure and maintain core SD components including sales order management, billing, pricing, shipping, and customer master data - Optimise sales process workflows such as output controls, invoice generation, and shipping notifications - Diagnose and resolve complex order-to-cash issues to ensure seamless operational continuity - Manage SAP integration touchpoints across cross-functional and multi-geographic landscapes - Contribute to NKT's ongoing S/4HANA transformation by building an integrated and automated sales environment - Prepare functional documentation, support system testing, and deliver user training across business functions Required Qualifications - Minimum 6 years of hands-on SAP SD implementation and support experience - Strong expertise in SD configuration covering sales orders, deliveries, billing, and customer master data - Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex order-to-cash process issues - Experience collaborating with global and cross-functional teams in multi-country SAP environments - Exposure to S/4HANA SD enhancements or IS-Mill functionality is highly desirable - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in a multicultural setting Why Join Us NKT offers a genuinely international work environment where continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and career growth are embedded in the culture.
