SAP Basis HANA Consultant

Role Overview Tata Consultancy Services is looking for experienced SAP Basis HANA Consultants to join its team at the Hyderabad Deccan Park office. This is a full-time permanent role suited for professionals with strong hands-on expertise in SAP BASIS administration, HANA environments, and related infrastructure technologies. The selected candidates will work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure stable, high-performing SAP landscapes. Key Responsibilities - Administer and manage SAP BASIS systems including installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of SAP environments - Handle SAP OS and DB migrations as well as system copy activities with precision and minimal downtime - Manage SAP JAVA stacks and Portal Administration to ensure seamless system performance - Work with ticketing tools, third-party tools, and SAP integration tools to resolve issues and fulfil service requests - Coordinate with clients through clear verbal and written communication to understand requirements and provide timely updates - Support SAP HANA database administration tasks including monitoring, backup, and recovery operations - Collaborate with teams on cloud and new-age SAP technologies as part of continuous improvement initiatives Required Qualifications - 4 to 15 years of experience in SAP Basis and HANA administration - Strong knowledge of Linux and Unix operating systems along with RDBMS platforms such as Oracle, SQL, and SAP HANA - Hands-on experience with SAP JAVA and Portal Administration - Proficiency in SAP OS and DB migrations and system copy procedures - Familiarity with ticketing tools, third-party integration tools, and SAP integration platforms - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction - Any graduate degree is acceptable Why Join Us TCS is one of India's most respected IT services organisations offering excellent growth opportunities, exposure to cutting-edge SAP technologies, and a collaborative work culture.
