Salesforce Apex Developer - Life Sciences and Health Cloud

Role Overview Deloitte US-India Offices is looking for an experienced Salesforce Apex Developer at the Consultant or Senior Consultant level to join its Life Sciences and Health Cloud practice. This is a high-impact role suited for professionals who can independently drive end-to-end Salesforce solution delivery for Life Sciences and Healthcare clients across multiple India locations. You will serve as a technical leader and trusted advisor, translating complex business needs into robust, scalable Salesforce solutions. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and deploy Salesforce solutions independently for Life Sciences and Health clients, adhering to platform best practices and project standards - Apply hands-on expertise in Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud to build solutions across Patient Experience, Commercial, Med Tech, Provider, and Payer domains - Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable Salesforce architectures - Lead and mentor technical teams, providing direction, code reviews, and guidance throughout the project lifecycle - Ensure code quality, security, and performance through structured unit testing and adherence to Salesforce development standards - Manage integrations and data migration activities between Salesforce and external enterprise systems - Support Agile delivery including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and CI/CD pipeline management - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure timely milestone delivery - Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all technical solutions and processes Required Qualifications - 5 or more years of hands-on Salesforce development experience including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Integration APIs - Proven track record of leading technical teams on Salesforce project delivery - Strong grasp of Salesforce configuration, security models, sharing rules, and platform best practices - Experience with data integration, migration strategies, and deployment methodologies - Proficiency in source control tools such as Git and Agile delivery frameworks - Salesforce Platform Developer certification is mandatory; additional Salesforce certifications are advantageous - Demonstrated project experience within Life Sciences or Healthcare client environments - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities - Any graduate degree is acceptable Why Join Us Deloitte offers a globally respected platform where you can work on cutting-edge Life Sciences and Healthcare transformation projects alongside some of the brightest consulting professionals in the industry.
