Job Description

Role Overview Spark Scientific Private Limited is a leading supplier of advanced analytical instrumentation, HPLC columns, chromatography consumables, and laboratory solutions serving pharmaceutical companies, research institutes, biotechnology organizations, CROs, and industrial laboratories across India. We are seeking a driven and results-focused Sales Executive to manage and grow our HPLC Columns and Consumables division in Chennai and surrounding regions. This is an excellent opportunity for a science graduate with a passion for sales and a background in analytical products to build a rewarding career in scientific instrument sales. Key Responsibilities - Drive sales and business development for HPLC columns and chromatography consumables across Chennai and nearby territories - Identify and develop new business opportunities from pharmaceutical, API, biotechnology, CRO, research, and QC/QA laboratory segments - Promote the full range of chromatography consumables and application-based products to prospective and existing customers - Conduct regular customer visits and offer tailored product recommendations based on specific analytical requirements - Prepare accurate quotations and follow up diligently to ensure order closure - Coordinate with internal teams and product principals for technical support and commercial discussions - Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships to drive repeat business - Consistently meet monthly and quarterly sales targets - Maintain up-to-date sales reports, customer databases, and market intelligence records Required Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related discipline - 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in scientific consumables, HPLC columns, chromatography consumables, or analytical product sales - Basic knowledge of HPLC and chromatography applications and techniques - Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills - Target-oriented mindset with willingness to travel within the assigned territory - Prior experience handling pharmaceutical and QC laboratory accounts is a distinct advantage Why Join Us At Spark Scientific, you will work with a well-established portfolio of premium analytical products and gain exposure to leading pharmaceutical, biotech, and research organisations across India. Requirements

- Degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field - 1 to 3 years of experience in HPLC or analytical consumables sales - Basic knowledge of HPLC and chromatography applications - Strong communication and negotiation skills - Customer relationship management ability - Target-driven with willingness to travel - Experience with pharma or QC laboratory accounts preferred
