Record to Report Process Manager

Role Overview Capgemini is looking for an experienced Record to Report Process Manager to join its Global Business Services team in Bengaluru. This is a mid-senior level opportunity suited for accounting professionals who combine strong technical expertise with leadership capabilities. The role involves working closely with the General Mills Global Accounting Organization and the Assistant Controller to maintain financial integrity and champion continuous process improvements. Key Responsibilities - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accountants while fostering a culture of trust, continuous learning, and high performance - Ensure smooth execution of period-end close activities within assigned areas, contributing to the completeness, accuracy, and validity of financial statements - Review balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and ad-hoc financial reports to verify accuracy and ensure regulatory compliance - Liaise with internal and external auditors to address and resolve queries in a timely manner - Plan and manage work allocation across the accounting team, monitoring progress to meet deadlines consistently - Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accounting processes, efficiency, and internal controls - Support transformation projects that impact accounting systems and processes - Serve as the escalation point for resolving complex issues raised by team members and General Mills partners Required Qualifications - Thorough understanding and practical application of accounting principles and financial reporting standards - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to deep-dive into underlying transactions - Proven experience managing accounting teams and building cross-functional collaboration - Excellent communication skills across all levels of an organization - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools - Experience with SAP, Hyperion HFM, Blackline, or OneStream is a significant advantage Why Join Us Capgemini offers flexible work arrangements, a globally connected community, and structured career growth programs designed to help you thrive at every stage of your professional journey.
