Product Engineering Executive

Role Overview Flowserve Sanmar Private Limited is looking for a skilled Product Engineering Executive to join their team in Chennai. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in Mechanical Seals or Centrifugal Pump industries. The position involves managing product engineering processes, providing technical support, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities - Manage creation, updation, and control of Material Masters, BOM, Drawings, Standards, and Procedures - Use AutoCAD and SolidWorks for product design and engineering tasks - Ensure Material Masters and BOMs are created and maintained accurately in SAP systems for new designs and special requirements - Monitor SAP/ERP backlog and ensure timely updates for new and existing product data - Release new material specifications and procedures for special product requirements - Provide technical support for Mechanical Seal requirements across all special product engineering needs - Coordinate with Joint Venture partners on technical matters related to existing and new products - Support root cause analysis and resolve Assembly and Service problems - Extend technical assistance to Marketing, Manufacturing, Branches, and Customers to reduce net provided inventory - Deliver product training to internal and external customers at the plant - Apply knowledge of ASME and API standards related to Mechanical Seals and Pumps - Interact with OEMs, PMCs, and End Users for technical coordination Required Qualifications - Experience in Mechanical Seals or Centrifugal Pumps industry is strongly preferred - Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks - Hands-on experience with SAP or ERP systems - Knowledge of ASME and API standards applicable to Mechanical Seals and Pumps - Strong communication and coordination skills for cross-functional collaboration - Ability to provide technical training and support to diverse teams Why Join Us Flowserve Sanmar is a globally recognised leader in flow control products and solutions with a strong presence in India.
