Product Controller

Role Overview Millennium is seeking a highly skilled Product Controller to join our investment management team in Bengaluru. In this position, you will be responsible for providing daily and weekly Profit and Loss (P&L) explanations, reporting, and analytics to portfolio managers and senior management globally. You will collaborate across departments to validate accounting data, improve financial controls, and lead process automation initiatives. Key Responsibilities - Provide daily T0 and T+1 P&L explanations and commentary across all asset classes to senior leadership and portfolio managers - Manage and coordinate standard P&L reporting to portfolio manager teams - Act as the primary interface for portfolio managers on pricing, positions, and exposure queries - Coordinate across teams to validate P&L in subledger and general ledger systems, acting as a centralized control point for expense adjustments - Prepare daily and weekly management reports, risk-based P&L explanations, and performance attribution analytics - Lead short-term and long-term projects to enhance existing financial tools, systems, and reconciliation processes Required Qualifications - Between 6 to 10 years of professional experience in product control, financial control, or P&L production - Advanced proficiency in SQL and Tableau, which is mandatory for data visualization and query building - Solid experience with Risk-Based P&L Explained, P&L attribution, and intraday/end-of-day support - Practical knowledge of general ledger accounting, financial reconciliations, and tools like Murex, Geneva, or Imagine - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with investment professionals Why Join Us Join a world-class global investment management firm managing over 74 billion dollars in assets, offering a fast-paced and intellectually stimulating environment. - 6 to 10 years of experience in Product Control, P&L management, or financial analysis within investment management - Mandatory advanced skills in SQL and Tableau for financial reporting and analysis - Extensive experience with risk-based P&L explains, attribution, and general ledger reconciliation - Proven track record of interacting with senior management and investment professionals - Familiarity with platforms such as Murex, Geneva, or Imagine is highly preferred - Strong problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and excellent time management skills
