Job Description
Role Overview
Accenture is looking for a Procurement Practice Associate Manager to lead and optimise procurement operations for its clients. In this role, you will go beyond routine purchase order processing to help organisations unlock real value from their procurement spending. You will work across the full procurement lifecycle, from identifying business needs and qualifying suppliers to negotiating contracts and managing third-party risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and resolve moderately complex procurement challenges by developing new solutions or adapting existing methodologies
- Lead and manage medium to small-sized procurement teams or work efforts at client sites or within Accenture
- Align procurement strategies with the overall direction set by senior leadership to support team and business goals
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by serving as a reliable point of contact at peer and management levels
- Oversee end-to-end procurement processes including supplier identification, proposal requests, contract negotiations, delivery management, and performance analysis
- Apply third-party risk management frameworks to ensure supplier compliance and mitigate supply chain vulnerabilities
- Make informed decisions independently with minimal guidance when handling new assignments or procedures
Required Qualifications
- Any graduate or postgraduate degree
- 10 to 14 years of experience in procurement operations and third-party risk management
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative procurement solutions
- Demonstrated thought leadership in procurement and supply chain management
- Ability to handle disputes effectively and perform consistently under pressure
- Proven experience managing client relationships at a professional level
