Presales Director - Data Modernisation and Enterprise Solutioning

Role Overview Syncarp is looking for a seasoned Presales Director to lead enterprise solutioning for large-scale Data Modernisation, Lakehouse Transformation, and AI-ready Data Platform engagements. This is a senior leadership role requiring a rare blend of strategic presales maturity, deep enterprise architecture expertise, and executive-level consulting capability. The ideal candidate brings 15 to 20 years of experience and the credibility to engage at the C-suite level while guiding complex, multi-platform data transformation pursuits. Key Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end RFP, RFI, and RFQ solutioning for large enterprise data deals - Drive proactive and strategic pursuit planning across target accounts - Define data modernisation roadmaps aligned with client business objectives - Support solution costing, estimation, and commercial structuring - Conduct client workshops, architecture reviews, and executive-level presentations - Lead legacy data warehouse modernisation from platforms such as Oracle, Teradata, Netezza, and Informatica - Drive Lakehouse transformation programmes including re-platforming and optimisation strategies - Establish governance frameworks covering Unity Catalog, data lineage, data quality, and compliance architecture - Architect and position AI-ready Lakehouse solutions including GenAI-enabled analytics and enterprise AI operationalisation - Provide platform expertise across Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, GCP, BigQuery, Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Delta Lake, and real-time streaming analytics Required Qualifications - 15 to 20 years of experience in presales, enterprise architecture, or data platform consulting - Proven track record leading complex data transformation and modernisation pursuits - Deep hands-on knowledge of cloud data platforms including Databricks, Snowflake, and major hyperscalers - Experience with Data Mesh, Data Fabric, and enterprise governance frameworks - Exposure to MLflow, RAG pipelines, LLM ecosystems, and AI governance models - Strong executive communication and stakeholder engagement skills - Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setup Why Join Us Syncarp offers a high-impact leadership opportunity at the intersection of modern data engineering and enterprise AI, where you will shape the direction of large-scale transformation programmes for marquee clients.
