Parts Information Specialist

Role Overview Caterpillar Inc. is looking for a Parts Information Specialist to join the Technical Information Solutions team in Chennai. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate technical parts information for Caterpillar products, supporting new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a full-time, onsite position requiring your presence five days a week. Key Responsibilities - Create and revise technical parts information in alignment with new product introduction timelines and company standards - Ensure all parts data is accurate, complete, and compliant with established guidelines - Participate actively in process improvement efforts to enhance the quality and efficiency of parts information delivery - Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to gather and analyse data for accurate documentation - Maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers to support seamless service delivery Required Qualifications - Basic understanding of customer focus principles and the ability to align activities with customer satisfaction goals - Familiarity with data gathering and analysis tools and methodologies - Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly in both written and verbal formats - Knowledge of relationship management techniques and ability to manage client interactions professionally - A structured approach to problem-solving with a willingness to pursue continuous technical learning - Candidates must not require current or future employment visa sponsorship for this position Why Join Us At Caterpillar, you will be part of a globally respected organisation that values innovation, sustainability, and people.
