NodeJS Full Stack Associate Architect

Role Overview Virtusa is seeking a talented and driven Associate Architect with deep expertise in Node.js and React.js to join our engineering team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and delivering scalable, high-performance web applications while guiding development teams and setting technical direction across the full stack. Key Responsibilities - Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance web application architectures - Lead backend development using Node.js frameworks such as Express.js and NestJS - Build and optimize frontend applications using React.js including Hooks and Context API - Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to convert business needs into technical solutions - Define coding standards, architectural guidelines, and development best practices - Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to maintain high-quality deliverables - Optimize application performance for speed, scalability, and reliability - Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and emerging technologies - Ensure compliance with system security and data protection standards - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges Required Qualifications - Strong hands-on experience with Node.js using Express.js, NestJS, or similar frameworks - Solid expertise in React.js including Hooks, Context API, and performance optimization - Good understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture - Experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL - Proficiency in JavaScript ES6 and TypeScript preferred - Exposure to cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP - Knowledge of Docker and containerization with Kubernetes as an added advantage - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices - Strong grasp of system design, scalability principles, and performance tuning Why Join Us Virtusa is a global technology company known for delivering innovative digital transformation solutions to leading enterprises worldwide.
