Role Overview Virtusa is seeking a passionate and skilled .Net Developer to join our engineering team in Chennai. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned technologist with 8 or more years of hands-on experience in building enterprise-grade applications using Microsoft technologies. You will play a key role in architecting scalable solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact software products. Key Responsibilities - Design and develop enterprise applications using C#, .NET, and .NET Core 8 or above - Architect end-to-end solutions leveraging Microsoft technologies and proven design patterns - Build and integrate RESTful APIs and messaging queue systems for seamless data communication - Develop dynamic front-end interfaces using Angular 12 or higher - Work with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or big data platforms as needed - Proactively identify and resolve complex technical challenges while adapting to shifting priorities - Collaborate with peers to encourage knowledge sharing, idea exchange, and continuous learning - Apply analytical thinking and development best practices to deliver reliable, maintainable code Required Qualifications - 8 or more years of hands-on experience in enterprise application development - Strong expertise in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core 8 or later - Proficiency in Angular 12 or higher and JavaScript - Experience with REST API design and implementation - Familiarity with NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB, or big data technologies - Working knowledge of messaging queues and event-driven architectures - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences - Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach to challenges Why Join Us Virtusa is a global technology company known for delivering digital transformation and engineering solutions to leading enterprises worldwide.
