Microsoft Fabric Senior Data Engineer

Role Overview Tata Consultancy Services is looking for experienced Senior Data Engineers with deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric to join its growing data engineering practice. The selected candidates will work on large-scale enterprise data platforms, building robust pipelines and enabling real-time analytics capabilities. This is a full-time permanent opportunity with openings across Kolkata, Chennai, and Bengaluru. Key Responsibilities - Design, build, and optimise data pipelines and dataflows within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem including Data Factory, Data Engineering, and Data Warehouse components - Architect and manage Lakehouse solutions using Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure Synapse for large-scale data ingestion and transformation - Develop and maintain ETL and ELT processes using SQL and Python to ensure reliable and efficient data integration across enterprise systems - Implement real-time data ingestion workflows using Eventstreams, Event Hubs, IoT Hub, and Kusto queries - Integrate Fabric Data Warehouse with Power BI and other downstream systems to enable analytics and reporting - Enforce data governance, security, and compliance standards within the Microsoft Fabric environment - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Fabric deployments using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions - Ensure data quality, validation, and robust error handling across all data workflows - Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile and Scrum delivery models using version control tools like Git Required Qualifications - 8 to 13 years of hands-on experience in data engineering with strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric and its core services - Proficiency in Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL, SQL, and Python - Demonstrated experience with Real-Time Analytics, data streaming, bulk data processing, and performance optimisation for large datasets - Familiarity with Power BI for analytics and visualisation and understanding of data modeling and integration best practices - Any graduate degree Why Join Us TCS offers a dynamic and collaborative environment where data engineers can work on cutting-edge cloud and analytics platforms at enterprise scale.
