You will translate healthcare diagnoses, clinical procedures, medical services, and equipment details into standardised alphanumeric codes using established coding systems. Your work will contribute to the creation of a uniform medical vocabulary that accurately describes causes of injury, illness, and patient outcomes. You will ensure consistent and accurate documentation across healthcare facilities by applying coding standards, and your primary function will involve analysing clinical statements and assigning the appropriate universal codes in compliance with industry guidelines. Required Qualifications Candidates with relevant knowledge in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology will be preferred for this role. A strong attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret clinical documentation are essential traits for success in this position.
