Key Responsibilities Medical coders at NTT DATA are responsible for carefully reading patient clinical documentation and translating diagnoses, procedures, treatments, and medical equipment details into standardised alphanumeric medical codes. The role involves creating and maintaining uniform medical vocabulary to accurately describe causes of illness, injury, and death. Coders ensure consistent documentation practices across healthcare facilities and play a critical part in enabling efficient healthcare data management and billing processes. Required Qualifications Candidates must hold a degree in a life sciences discipline. Only graduates from 2025 or earlier are eligible; 2026 pass-outs are not eligible for this position. Familiarity with basic medical terminology and a strong aptitude for detail-oriented work are essential.
