Manager, Packaging Compliance

Role Overview Molex is seeking a Manager for Packaging Compliance to serve as the global owner of packaging compliance, governance, and risk-based decision-making. Based in Bengaluru, you will be part of the Centralized Packaging Design team within Global Engineering Services, ensuring solutions meet regulatory, sustainability, and customer demands. In this role, you will lead cross-functional alignment and translate environmental laws into actionable packaging standards. Key Responsibilities - Lead global packaging compliance strategy and governance with clear decision authority across business units - Translate global regulatory, sustainability, and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements into actionable design standards - Establish enterprise-wide visibility and traceability of packaging materials to support external audits and compliance checks - Partner with engineering, product design, and supply chain teams to enable scalable, compliant, and cost-effective packaging solutions - Act as the primary escalation point for global packaging compliance risks and drive timely mitigation strategies - Represent Molex in corporate and external forums regarding sustainability and packaging regulations Required Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Packaging, Civil, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline - Minimum of 5 years of experience in packaging development with exposure to compliance, regulatory affairs, and environmental laws - Strong knowledge of international packaging standards including ISTA, ASTM, and ISO frameworks - Hands-on experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and data-driven reporting structures - Solid understanding of sustainable materials, eco-friendly design practices, and green packaging systems - Outstanding communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills Why Join Us At Molex, you will drive sustainability and compliance at an industry leader in connector solutions.
