Manager Fund and Fee Changes - Investment Control

Role Overview Empower India is seeking an experienced Manager for Fund and Fee Changes within the Investment Control division. This is a mid-senior leadership role that involves overseeing a team of administrative professionals while ensuring fund setup operations are executed with accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in fund processes, people management, and continuous process improvement. Key Responsibilities - Manage and guide a team of administrative staff to achieve daily productivity and quality benchmarks - Oversee all operational functions related to timely fund setup and fee change processes - Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and supporting documentation - Review existing procedures and update them to meet current business requirements - Identify skill and knowledge gaps within the team and organise refresher training sessions - Handle escalation management and ensure timely resolution of complex issues - Monitor and track metrics including gain and loss thresholds - Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and cost effectiveness - Perform audit reviews of data and activities to mitigate risk of financial errors - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and serve as a liaison with external vendors - Support hiring and onboarding of new associates in coordination with relevant stakeholders - Participate in department-level projects and take on additional responsibilities as assigned Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounts, Commerce, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience - 8 to 12 years of overall experience with preferred knowledge of fund and fee change processes - Certified Lean Six Sigma practitioner is mandatory - ASPPA or SPARK certification is preferred - Solid understanding of internal policies and compliance requirements - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency in systems such as Cirrus and Easy is an advantage - Demonstrated ability to manage projects, stakeholders, and team performance effectively Why Join Us Empower India offers a flexible and inclusive work environment where internal mobility and career growth are actively encouraged. - 8 to 12 years of experience in fund and fee change operations - Bachelor's degree in Accounts or Commerce - Lean Six Sigma certification is mandatory - ASPPA or SPARK certification preferred - Strong knowledge of fund setup processes and applications - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Project management and stakeholder management abilities - Experience in people management and team leadership - Ability to perform audit reviews and manage operational risk - Proficiency in Cirrus, Easy, and related systems
