Lead Software Tester - SAP FICO Testing Consultant (ECC to S/4HANA Migration)

Role Overview UST is looking for an experienced SAP FICO Testing Consultant to join their quality assurance team in Bengaluru. This role focuses on validating and testing SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration projects across finance and controlling modules, ensuring seamless transformation and data integrity. The ideal candidate brings deep functional knowledge of SAP FI and CO modules combined with hands-on testing expertise across enterprise environments such as Manufacturing, Retail, Telecom, and BFSI. Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies tailored for ECC to S/4HANA migration projects - Validate S/4HANA finance transformations including Universal Journal (ACDOCA), Business Partner (CVI), New Asset Accounting, CO-PA, and Material Ledger - Perform System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression Testing across FI and CO modules - Conduct end-to-end integration testing for Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Record-to-Report (R2R) business processes - Execute pre-migration and post-migration financial data reconciliation and validation activities - Manage defect lifecycle using tools such as Jira, Micro Focus ALM, or SAP Solution Manager, and coordinate resolution with functional and technical teams - Facilitate business UAT sessions and obtain sign-offs from relevant stakeholders - Follow SAP Activate Methodology throughout the testing lifecycle Required Qualifications - Minimum 5 years of SAP FICO functional or testing experience - Hands-on experience with at least one or two end-to-end ECC to S/4HANA migration projects - Strong working knowledge of SAP FI modules including GL, AP, AR, AA, and BL - Strong working knowledge of SAP CO modules including CCA, PCA, IO, PC, and CO-PA - Proven experience in SIT, UAT, and Regression Testing - Experience in financial data reconciliation and validation of S/4HANA simplification items - Proficiency in defect management using Jira, ALM, or SAP Solution Manager - Any graduate or postgraduate degree Why Join Us UST is a globally recognized technology company that offers professionals the opportunity to work on cutting-edge SAP transformation projects alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry.
